Aim and scope
The aim of the conference is to highlight new technics involved in the field of image processing. Among various mathematical approaches, the focus is on PDE and variational methods. It will cover classical image analysis problems such as image restoration and recognition, data completion, motion estimation, image segmentation, and a wide range of applications: medical imaging, computer vision, multimedia...
The conference is adressed to a large public from different areas of mathematics and engineering.

Young researchers wishing to deliver 25mn talks. are invited to submit a proposal (title and abstract) to Zakaria Belhachmi belhach@univ-metz.fr before March 31, 2007. There is no registration fee for speakers. Accomodation in Metz could be covered by the organizers.
